Colorbond fencing is a type of fence that is made out of Colorbond steel. Colorbond is a pre-painted product that is made to Australian Standards. 

The inner base of Colorbond is Zincalume steel, which is steel that has been coated with a mix of zinc and aluminum, giving the final product corrosion-resistant properties. The Zincalume is then coated with a special colour coating in order to create the Colorbond. 

Aside from its corrosion-resistant properties, Colorbond fence also has an impressive number of plus points such as that it is easy to clean, it is fireproof, rot and termite-proof, stylish and great for homes that want to level up their privacy and security.

Colorbond fencing is typically a modular system, hence it is easy to install and can be less expensive to have professionally installed as opposed to other types of fences.

Another great thing about Colorbond fence is its varying styles and customisability. They are versatile because they can be mixed and matched with timber posts or decorative panels, depending on the look and style that you are trying to achieve. There are also about 20 standard colours to choose from. 

Most Colorbond fence panels generally come in 1.5m or 1.8m sizes, however, they can be cut to different sizes if you prefer a smaller fence. Installed and cared for properly, you can safely expect a Colorbond fence to last for at least 10-20 years.
